Included with Warsha BLE Studio for Android

v1.1.0

Version 1.0.0

First public release of Warsha BLE Studio.

Build and simulate peripherals

  • A built-in catalog of standard BLE profiles — heart rate, battery, fitness machine, and more — ready to advertise without writing anything.
  • Android: the Treadmill, a composed device: fitness machine, heart rate, battery, and device information linked into one peripheral, so raising the speed moves the heart rate and distance.
  • Local simulation runs with no radio and no Bluetooth permission, so you can build and inspect a peripheral before you ever advertise it.
  • On-air runs advertise to real centrals, with a live inspector for connections, subscriptions, MTU, and every read and write.

Explore nearby devices

  • Scan for the Bluetooth LE devices around you, filter by signal, service, company or bytes, and see each device’s advertising data and signal history.
  • Connect, browse its services, and read, write and subscribe, with standard characteristics decoded and your own value schemas for the rest.
  • Record a sequence of actions and replay it, export traces, and compare runs side by side.
  • Scan through another device’s radio with a paired RemoteBLE agent on your network.
  • Explore is free on both platforms.

Privacy

  • Crash diagnostics and product analytics are separate, opt-in choices, both off until you turn them on, and both disabled at build time until then.
  • Scripts, GATT definitions, and project data stay on your device.
  • Explore’s scan results and device values stay on your device too. They are written to a file only when you export a trace.
  • No advertising identifiers are collected on either platform.

Plans

  • Android: everything in this release is free, with no in-app purchases.

Known limits

  • Android requires the location permission, and Location switched on, for an Explore scan to return results. The app never reads your location.
  • Timing profiles are informed starting points, not hardware-certified values.
