Included with Warsha BLE Studio for Android
Version 1.0.1
Pro arrives on Android. 1.0.0 shipped the free tier on its own; this release adds scripting and the rest of Pro, with a free trial before you pay anything.
Changes since 1.0.0
- Script your own peripherals. Write a peripheral in JavaScript when the catalog does not have the device you need. A script defines its services and characteristics and answers reads, writes and subscriptions itself, in a sandbox where networking and on-device storage stay off until you allow them for that script. Writing, importing and exporting scripts is free; running them is Pro.
- Write on the big screen. The Remote Script Editor serves a full editor to a browser on your laptop. Pair it with the PIN the app shows, save there, and the script is deployed to the phone and running without a rebuild.
- Every composed device. Indoor Bike, Rower, HID Keyboard, BLE-MIDI Keyboard and the rest of the composed catalog join the Treadmill, which stays free.
- Behavior hooks react to what a central writes and steer a composed device’s simulation.
- The GATT profile library, and importing a script straight from a URL.
- Networking, storage and state machines for scripts, plus real-time shaping and fault injection.
- Plan & Billing in Settings shows your plan, restores purchases and manages your subscription in Google Play.
Plans
- Pro is a monthly or yearly Google Play subscription, each with a 14-day free trial (one trial per Google account, shared by both plans), or Founding Lifetime Pro, a one-time purchase that may close to new buyers after the founding period.
- Google Play shows the price for your region at checkout.
- Cancelling, or letting a trial end, never locks or deletes your scripts: you can keep editing and exporting them.
- Everything that was free in 1.0.0 stays free: the built-in catalog of single peripherals, the beacons, the Treadmill, the inspector and log, and Explore.
Known limits
- The Remote Script Editor is unencrypted and is for trusted networks only.
- Timing profiles are informed starting points, not hardware-certified values.
- An Explore scan needs the location permission, and Location switched on, to return results. The app never reads your location.
