The price the checkout shows is the price. It is authoritative for your region, currency, taxes, and eligibility. Depending on where you are and how you are registered for tax, applicable tax may already be included in the figure you see or added at checkout. The US figures on this page are quoted before any applicable sales tax, and the checkout total is always authoritative.

What is included in Free?

Free browses the complete catalog and runs the curated single-peripheral presets, together with the Treadmill composed-device demo. It includes the real-radio and virtual destinations where the platform supports them, the inspector, the simulation dashboard, timing readouts, and basic diagnostics. The free Treadmill is the whole device: no session limit, no disabled controls, no virtual-only restriction, and no reduced behavior.

Scripts and project files remain available to create, edit, import locally, and export. Free users always keep their own files.

Pro is required to run the rest of the composed-device catalog, execute a user-authored script or an attached JavaScript hook — including a hook on the Treadmill — use the bundled profile library, import from a URL, grant advanced script capabilities, or use the advanced real-time shaping and fault-injection tools.

The paid boundary is executing advanced behavior, not owning your work. Free users can create and edit scripts; running custom behavior is what needs Pro.

Why is Android Pro a subscription?

Google Play delivers the Android app as one continuously updated application. Pro is therefore sold as access to the maintained current release: while the subscription is active, it includes the current Pro feature set and feature, operating-system, Play compatibility, and device-specific BLE updates released during that period. The monthly plan suits project-based use; the annual plan is intended for developers who use the product throughout the year.

Google Play does support permanent in-app purchases, so the platform does not technically require a subscription. This is a deliberate product choice: it avoids asking for a comparatively high one-time mobile-app purchase and keeps one clear entitlement for the continuously maintained Android release.

Why is macOS Pro a one-time purchase?

The macOS edition is distributed directly. That makes it practical to sell a defined major-version family: a Warsha BLE Studio 1.x license permanently unlocks Pro in every eligible 1.x release, while a future 2.x release may be a separate purchase.

What does macOS Pro cost and include?

The US price is $29.99 as a one-time purchase, before any applicable sales tax. The checkout shows the authoritative regional price, tax treatment, and total before payment. The license is for one user, permanently unlocks Pro in eligible 1.x releases, and permits two concurrent Mac activations — enough for a desktop and a laptop. A future major-version family such as 2.x may require a separate purchase. License keys may not be shared with other users.

$29.99 is the price being charged, not a discount from a higher figure nobody pays — no “regular price” is displayed beside it. If the price changes later, that applies to new purchases only and never alters a license you already own.

What does Android Pro cost and include?

The US price is $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year, before any applicable sales tax. Google Play shows the authoritative regional price, applicable taxes, billing period, and total before purchase. When Play supplies comparable numeric monthly and annual prices and annual costs less than twelve monthly payments, the app recommends annual and shows the rounded percentage saved. It makes no savings claim when those inputs are absent or not comparable.

Monthly and annual unlock exactly the same Pro features and differ only in billing period. One active subscription covers one user and provides access to the maintained current Android Pro release, including the Android feature, operating-system, Play compatibility, and device-specific BLE updates released while the subscription remains active.

$29.99 is the ordinary annual price, not an introductory rate that later rises, and no higher “regular price” is displayed beside it. Future price increases apply to new customers only.

The subscription does not include unlimited personal support or a service-level agreement. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.

Can I use Android Pro on multiple devices or share it with my team?

Android Pro is normally licensed to one user. That user may restore the subscription on their own compatible Android devices.

For commercial teams, each person who installs or operates Pro needs their own subscription. Other team members may connect their applications to the simulated peripheral, and may use shared scripts, projects, peripheral definitions, and test results, without purchasing Pro.

A limited shared-device exception applies to qualifying non-commercial open-source and hobby projects.

Can an open-source project or hobby group use Android Pro?

We want Warsha BLE Studio to stay friendly to open-source developers and hobbyists.

A subscriber working on a non-commercial open-source or informal hobby project may let unpaid contributors operate Pro on the subscriber’s devices, or on shared test devices dedicated to the project. A hobbyist may also restore Pro on their own compatible Android devices. Project donations or sponsorship do not by themselves make a project commercial.

Please do not share Google Account credentials, or restore one subscription on every contributor’s personal device. Paid employees, contractors, client work, internal company testing, and development of a commercial product or service each require a separate entitlement for every person operating Pro.

Scripts, peripheral definitions, projects, and test results can always be shared. Contributors who only connect their own applications to the simulated peripheral do not need Pro.

How does the Android trial work?

Eligible users receive the trial duration, selected billing period, renewal price, and renewal date shown by Google Play. Both plans carry a trial: the offer is 14 days free, then the selected plan’s price unless canceled. Google Play determines eligibility, requires a valid payment method, and manages renewal and cancellation. The localized offer displayed before confirmation is authoritative.

How does the macOS trial work?

The macOS trial provides 14 active-use days. It starts when the user chooses to start the trial, and a day is consumed only when a Pro run is actually admitted. Repeated Pro runs on the same local day do not consume another day. Trial expiry applies to the next Pro run and never interrupts an active BLE session.

What happens if I cancel Android Pro?

Pro remains available until the end of the paid billing period. The app then returns to Free. Saved scripts and projects are not deleted or made read-only: they remain available to view, edit, import, and export. The Treadmill demo and the single-peripheral catalog keep running. Starting scripts, paid composed devices, and other Pro operations requires active Pro access.

What happens if an Android renewal payment fails?

Google Play applies the three-day billing grace period configured for both plans, followed by its automatically calculated account-hold behavior if payment is still unresolved. Play may show a transactional payment-recovery message when you return to the app. Pause, resume, resubscribe, and renewal eligibility remain controlled by Google Play.

The three-day billing grace period is not the app’s offline verification lease. The latter lasts up to seven days after the last successful Play verification only when Play is temporarily unreachable; it does not extend a canceled, revoked, paused, or otherwise invalid subscription.

Does the macOS license include every future version?

No. It is perpetual for the purchased major-version family, not a promise of every future major release. A 1.x license continues to unlock eligible 1.x builds; a future 2.x release may be sold separately.

Does a purchase on another platform transfer?

No. Each platform’s Pro is sold and verified by a different provider, so a purchase on one platform does not unlock Pro on another.

Can I always recover my scripts?

Yes. Authoring and file ownership are not the paid boundary. A trial expiry, cancellation, or license problem may stop a new Pro run, but scripts remain editable and exportable.
