Version 1.1.0 for Mac
The first release of Warsha BLE Studio for Mac.
Build and simulate peripherals
- A built-in catalog of standard BLE profiles — heart rate, battery, fitness machine, and more — ready to advertise without writing anything. Each one was reviewed against its Bluetooth SIG specification: data formats, control points, and how it behaves when a central connects, subscribes or leaves.
- The Treadmill, a composed device: fitness machine, heart rate, battery, and device information linked into one peripheral, so raising the speed moves the heart rate and distance. It is free to run.
- Local simulation runs with no radio and no Bluetooth permission, so you can build and inspect a peripheral before you ever advertise it.
- On-air runs advertise to real centrals, with a live inspector for connections, subscriptions, MTU, and every read and write.
Explore nearby devices
- Scan for the Bluetooth LE devices around you, filter by signal, service, manufacturer or bytes, and see each device’s advertising data and signal history.
- Connect, browse its services, and read, write and subscribe, with standard characteristics decoded and your own value schemas for the rest.
- Record a sequence of actions and run it again, and export what happened on a connection as a trace.
- Scan and connect through a RemoteBLE agent on another device, using its radio instead of this Mac’s.
- Explore is free.
Pro
- Scripting, real-time authoring, and the composed devices other than the Treadmill are Pro. Pro cannot be purchased in this release, so those features are shown but locked.
Privacy
- Crash diagnostics and product analytics are separate, opt-in choices, both off until you turn them on.
- Peripherals, scripts, and Explore’s scan results and device values stay on your Mac. They are written to a file only when you export them.
- No advertising identifiers are collected.
Known limits
- Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon.
- Keep the app in your Applications folder. An app opened straight from Downloads runs from a temporary read-only copy and cannot update itself.
- The catalog was checked in software against the specifications; this is not a Bluetooth SIG certification, and real fitness and health apps can still differ in what they accept.
